Please help Michele
Hi, my name is Brian and Michele is my best friend, amazing mom to our 2 beautiful children and my soul mate. We have been married for almost 19 years and have been through many ups and downs. Michele is the strongest woman that I have ever known. She is kind, loving, caring, compassionate, selfless, I could go on and on. She would give you the shoes off of her feet without hesitation if you needed them and now she is in need of help.
Some of you know that almost 2 years ago Michele was diagnosed with Kobberling Lipodystrophy which is a rare disease that attacks the liver, heart and kidneys. Unfortunately, by the time she was diagnosed it was also discovered that she has Stage 4 Liver Cirrhosis (non alcoholic) also known as End Stage Liver Disease.
The liver doctor said that if she makes certain life changes she could live 5 years. Ultimately, she needs a liver transplant and there are certain conditions that must be met in order to qualify for the transplant. Two of those conditions are that you need a place to live and a good support system. As of right now she doesn’t have either of these and we have been presented with an opportunity to have both in one move. Two amazing families have offered us a place to live and a support system all in one. We have been offered a beautiful travel trailer to purchase for a great price plus a wonderful site to rent that comes with an amazing support system. The trailer owners are allowing us to rent the trailer for a while in order to get the finances together. Unfortunately, since we have to keep our income pretty close to nothing in order to keep MEDICAID we don’t have all the funds to make this happen. We have reached out to all the charity organizations including local churches and we have been saving money as we can but we are in need of more help. If there is any possible way that you are willing and able to make a donation, any amount would be greatly appreciated. I know that this isn’t the best time for finances right now due to COVID but she is running against time.
