Crockett Boy's Will To Walk

We brought our runt of the litter,  Golden Retriever home from the breeders when he was nine weeks old, last April. We named him Crockett ( Davy Crockett, King Of The Wild Frontier."
Within the first month, he had a series of seizures lasting 45 minutes.
During that time, we rushed him to VSEC, the animal hospital in Levittown, Pa.  He was in ICU recovering for 3 days.
The neurologist said he couldn't believe he survived seizures lasting that long! Hence, his " WILL " to survive!
Crockett was diagnosed with Adolescent Epilepsy caused by a genetic disorder from being "INBRED". (His parents are brother and sister).
Crockett continues to have seizures. Thus far, 21 in the past year that last anywhere from 4-5 minutes.
He takes 2 medications daily and is injected in his back with Midalozam to stop a seizure lasting 5 minutes.
The breeders offered to take him back after his second seizure and being in ICU overnight.
There was no way, no how, our family was about to part with this special puppy. He's our boy, our baby, our family! We adore him!
And so the financial expenses continued to grow as Crockett was diagnosed with more "Genetic Disorders" from being "INBRED".
We were told he had an eye infection the day we got him from the breeders.
Turned out, both eyes are under developed and he was B L I N D !
Now he has an eye specialist.
Her diagnosis is CATERACTS.
As the CATERACTS slowly dissappear,  Crockett  slowly gains SOME vision.
But through all this, he's still a playful,  happy and content little boy!
Then, his testicles never dropped, causing him to have surgery to remove them.
So far, with hospitalization, surgery and medical attention and medicines,  we have spent over $7,000.00!
We currently  are in "URGENT" need of financial funds due to another "GENETIC DISORDER" from being inbred!
Crockett has severe dysplasia in both front legs. Bone chips are breaking off and laying in pockets. Every time he goes down the steps, he's in a lot of pain, as his elbows are bending.
While running and playing, both legs give out from under him.
But our BRAVE  CROCKETT BOY, struggles to stand back up and continues to play!
He has advanced arthritis in both front legs, also.
His Orthopedic Surgeon says he needs surgery or he will be DEBILATED within the next 18 months!
The surgery will help him emmensly and free up his pain.
Then he will feel better for another ten years!
We are in desperate need of $5,200.00 for his dysplasia surgery before it's to late for our Crockett Boy!
Every single $ 5, $10 plus is greatly, and heartfully appreciated!
If you are unable to donate, your kind words and prayers will definitely make us feel better and are also great appreciated!
And if you would please share this story with everyone you know, it will definitely help us to achieve our goal to help "Crockett Boy's Will To Walk!"
