Help Cover Essential Medication Costs

I’m usually not the one to ask for help from anyone. I have been out on leave from work since July 2024 due to a plethora of medical issues. My employer has not been the best communicator in the leave of absence and short-term disability space. I was literally told I would need to come up with $140 a day before my health benefits would be terminated. I was able to come up with the money. After trying to reach someone over the course of two weeks, I was told today that my short-term disability will not be processed until the end of October. I am grateful for my parents who have provided most of the financial support needed, and also some of my colleagues. My medication was recently changed, and I have no idea where I’m going to get the money to cover it! I’ve gone to many places for assistance but I keep getting denied because I make too much money to qualify for their programs. Once again, I do not ask for handouts and often go without. I contribute my finances and time to the same organizations that are turning me away. It is very frustrating.
