As of 10/25/25, Lee is now on IV pain meds. He is pretty sedated. He is no longer eating or drinking. Lynn has been in contact with the VA and Lee did not have enough years in to get any burial assistance. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

UPDATE: brother is still on comfort care. He is receiving more pain meds as needed, eating less. He is sometimes with it and sometimes not. He is a fighter for sure. Keep praying. We appreciate you.

Hello, my name is Janet.

Our brother, Lee aka Joe, has been placed on comfort care.

He took a fall Friday morning, was brought to the ER. CatScan revealed the cancer has spread to the brain. There is also bleeding and swelling on the brain.

He is still in the hospital at this point until the swelling goes down.

Long term plan is CVPH Nursing floor or hospice at home.

Anyone who knows my brother knows he always has a great sense of humor and offered to help anyone whenever he could.

Thank you to everyone who has already reached out and came to see him. We appreciate it more than you know.

As a veteran, he served in the Army then the Army Reserves. He served in Desert Storm protecting his country and fellow Americans.

Lee has been on SSDI for many years which means limited income and NO life insurance or funds for burial costs.

Any help would be appreciated.
