Bonnie’s Battle

Hi, my name is Mandy Bonvillian and I am fundraising for Bonnie Batts, the English bulldog. Bonnie is my baby boy Stu’s only littermate. They’re 11 year old twins!

In the recent weeks, Bonnie has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of melanoma.

She has already undergone 2 surgeries to remove the cancer and lymph nodes to try to slow the spread. It was originally thought that a vaccine every 2 weeks would be all she would need. That alone is very costly. However, we have now been told that she will also need chemotherapy. (Which is only to be referred to from now on as her Magic Pills.)

The goal is for these magic pills to do their thing and buy us enough time for age to be Bonnie’s deciding factor in her life and not this terrible disease. This, along with other treatments, costs and vet visits is going to create unbelievable, unexpected costs for Bonnie’s family.

Bonnies mom, Adele, has been working tirelessly making collars, leashes and harnesses to try to cover the costs as best she can.

With that being said, she’s getting no time with sweet Bonnie if she’s behind a sewing machine all day everyday!

That is why I am doing this! Let’s help Bonnie and her family battle this beast! We may not be able to make this go away, but every dollar helps ease the blow as well as allowing Adele to spend precious time with our girl, Bonnie!
