Accessible Van

Hi, my name is Tamika, and I'm fundraising for 19-year-old Louis Martinez. In October 2019, Louis suffered a brain hemorrhage and was in a coma for an extended period. As a result of the bleeding, Louis has right-sided paralysis that requires moderate assistance with daily activities. Transporting him to follow-up appointments needed an accessible van and a ramp that was costly to his family but purchased. On November 16, 2022, that van was stolen from the family residence here in Dallas. The grief I've witnessed from this loss has been overwhelming, as the van was the family's only means of transporting Louis to doctor's appointments. On November 20th, the frame of the van was found by the Dallas Police Department. This family needs our help. Will Rogers stated, "Strangers are just friends I haven't met yet."
