Support for Amanda

This is my friend Amanda Ketchum.  She is a Wife, Mom of 3 beautiful little boys, a daughter, a granddaughter, a friend, and most recently a Registered Nurse. Amanda and I attended nursing school together at Chamberlain University, where we spent 3 long, exhausting, and very difficult years obtaining our nursing degrees. Amanda had been working as a CNA doing home care for elderly patients who needed assistance. On May 14th of this month she passed her NCLEX and just received her license to be an RN.  On May 17th she was found down unresponsive at work, and transported to Banner University for medical treatment. Upon being admitted to the hospital with many tests done and scans completed, they discovered she had suffered 6 strokes, and found a large hole in her heart. She is scheduled to have surgery tomorrow to repair her heart, but has lasting residual effects from the strokes. At the young age of only 26 Amanda is unable to move the left side of her body completely and will have to continue to an outpatient physical therapy rehab hospital to try and regain strength and total function again. I am starting this fundraiser to help support her and her beautiful family during these hard times. The medical bills will pile up, and with her husband being the sole income for now,  times are tough for this family.  Amanda is such an amazing, caring, kind, and compassionate person who would do anything for anyone.  She helped me get through nursing school , so I want to help her get through this. Any donation of any amount or even kind words and prayers would be appreciated for this family.  Please help me spread awareness and gain support for the beautiful Ketchum family.
