Hi, my name is Daryl Dave Nanaman, I made this campaign last August 29, 2023, On the same date August 29, we lost my sister due to an autoimmune disease leaving 3 kids to a Widower (Roy Aldwin Dumaguin), Please allow me to share with you the series of the event as far as I can remember.
Exactly 7 years ago (Aug. 29, 2016) we lost my sister, Precious Lyn Nanaman due to Autoimmune Disease leaving behind 3 kids and her husband. My brother-in-law who was working in Singapore had to look for a job in the Philippines in order to raise the children. He was working 2 jobs trying to make a living in order to build a bright future for them. Fast forward to his current situation, Roy started having symptoms (severe headache/migraine) last July 2023 and after a series of tests, the result of the MRI scan made my whole family scared for him and worried thinking about the 3 children and their future.

“As you might not have heard about my situation, I have developed what I assumed to be just a migraine which started the night last July 21, 2023.
A week later, I vomited and felt dizzy that's why I was prompted for hospital admission from Aug 2-5, 2023 for 4 days at Mercy Hospital. On those days I was just given medicines for pain and my acid reflux.
After discharge, I developed intense pain in my head for more than a week and we still thought that it was a severe migraine that's why we decided to have an endoscopy and MRI in Cebu last August 22, 2023.
The result of the endoscopy at UCMed was GERD and acid reflux but the MRI result from Chong Hua Hospital the next day was a bit shocking to me. They found a mass in my brain reaching the size of 4 x 4 x 5 cm to consider a brain tumor.
We have consulted also a Neurologist at Chong Hua Fuente last Aug. 23 and an Oncologist at Chong Hua Mandaue last Aug. 25, and from my vital stats, they found no major issue except for my headache. But the fact that the mass is there, they still recommended to seek immediate consultation from a neurosurgeon for ASAP surgery.
My sister and my once-surgeon cousin both tried to look for options as to which neurosurgeon to go to. On Aug 26, we went to Bohol to seek consultation with an expert neurosurgeon at Ace Hospital hoping we could get some advice on the next steps the following day.
After this, we will be going back to Iligan to prepare whatever is needed in preparation for the surgery. The average money needed will be around P1M. We will see where we can get some government and private assistance coz as of now we don't have such an amount yet.
These are just the timeline of events for now and we are praying that miracles will still happen and if the surgery will be the only way, we hope that there will be no complications and worst case that will happen.”
As of Today, September 13, 2023 surgery is done and the most awaited result of the biopsy is not good.
