Support Timothy With His Eye Removal
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
This is Timothy. I found him hanging out around a garbage bin in Brussels a couple of years ago. He had some eye trauma back then, but it had fully healed and the Vetrenarian found no issue with it anymore.
Unfortunately, over the past week, he stopped opening that same eye. We visited the vet, who diagnosed him with an ulcer. Despite trying several antibiotics, nothing seemed to help. At our most recent visit, the ophthalmologist discovered multiple underlying issues in his eye that are making healing much harder and is causing him a lot of discomfort.
Then came the hardest part: the ophthalmologist told me that the eye needs to be removed. I wasn’t expecting the situation to be this serious, but sadly, it is. His surgery is now scheduled for Friday, May 2nd.
Timothy is such a happy and resilient cat, and I know he’ll adapt well after the surgery. But this has been an overwhelming experience with constant vet visits, eye drops, medications, and now surgery, the expenses have added up quickly.
If you're able to support us financially in any way, it would mean the world. All funds will go directly towards Timothy’s surgery and post-operative care.
I also want to send a huge thank you to Marianne Gerard who has been such a great support both financially and emotionally throughout all of these difficult times.
Thank you so much for reading and for any help you can offer.
