HELP AN 87 YEAR OLD VETERAN OUT!

Hi, my name is Kimberly Rodgers, the granddaughter of U.S. Navy Veteran Norman H. Rodgers. My grandfather dedicated 22 years of his life to the U.S. Navy, and is currently facing eviction from his assisted living facility due to restrictions with income. My family and I have been working with the Department of Veterans to apply for disability, and also for Aid in Attendance to help cover his facility fees, to no avail. We have regularly checked with the VA on the status, and the hold up is the government at this point. This has been an ongoing process since July 2023. We (my uncle, aunt, and myself) have also applied for a bridge loan in the beginning of this process to help "bridge the gap" while waiting on the approval of benefits. The loan company has now stopped disbursements due to the hold up with the VA. Which is why he is now facing eviction due to low income, and the inability to fully pay his fees. My grandfather is being evicted on April 27th (THIS SATURDAY) from his living facility over $3,051.38. My family and I have nowhere to take him to provide adequate care for him, and he does not qualify for Medicaid to move him to a nursing home. I have also tried to apply for a regular loan, to which he did not qualify for.

As you see, we have hit road block after road block and our time is running out. If there is any way that you could help my grandfather out with a donation to help cover fees, and to buy us some time, we will forever be grateful! Any amount can help us!
