In March of this year, Meeko (our rescue, 8.5 year old kitty) developed some lumps. After being told, “not to worry” by a vet who said the lumps were most likely fatty tumors, we went with our gut feeling and had a second opinion. After having a biopsy sent out, Meeko has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called primary cutaneous lymphoma.

With this being a rare form of cancer, Meeko’s prognosis is variable. Of course, we hope to stay positive and go forward with treatment. Meeko is my first fur baby and we pray that the chemotherapy treatments can extend Meeko’s life, as this type of cancer is non-cureable.

As everyone can relate, life is expensive right now. We will and have gone out of our way to help anyone in need. And now we are the ones in need.
