My name is Amanda and I’m the mother to Joshua and Nathan. We’ve been on a 6 year journey helping Joshua battle against a very vicious disease called Aplastic Anemia. These past 10 months have been the hardest thing to watch and help my son fight through; 2 bone marrow transplants, lots of chemo, poisons and radiation that just broke his body down slowly. Unfortunately the disease will ultimately win this week when we remove him from all the machines. He fought so hard and continued to live his life the way he wanted. He was full of life and love and strength and showed it to the very end. I am beyond blessed to have been his mother and his brother is so fortunate to have a best friend of that degree that protects him and shows so much love. I love my family and am so heartbroken. We will spend some time grieving and trying to understand the why. Staying in the hospital for past 10 months and now planning a funeral is overwhelming to say the least. Hoping to ask for any amount of donations to help with these expenses.
