Donations for Eva

Hello, my name is Naeomi and I’m fundraising on behalf of my mom, Eva Hermosillo.

On Wednesday, May 4th, my mom called me to tell me she wasn’t feeling well. She decided to go to the ER because she hadn’t been able to keep food down for a few days. The physicians told her it was her gallbladder and she had surgery on Friday. Her surgery went well and she was transferred to recovery.

I received a dreaded call on Saturday morning informing me that my mom had suffered a stroke and needed to be transferred to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

While the stroke was originally classified as ‘minor’, my mom is unable to walk or talk. Luckily, she is able to move her arms and legs and is able to communicate (yes or no) with head nods. She has good days and bad days but she has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

Due to previous health issues, my mom hadn’t been able to work for some time and finds herself in a tough financial situation. My siblings and I are currently doing everything we can to help her but it’s not quite enough.
