One of our own needs our help. For those of you who have spent any time at Morse St 501 in Toronto there is no doubt you have had the pleasure of meeting the Trout brothers. Chris and Dave Trout have been with us for almost Twenty Years. They work tirelessly setting up and working the PM dock as well as doing double duties as the Morse St janitors. They are always there to greet you with a thumbs up and a little smile whenever you come back from a grueling day on the road. Never ones to complain and always willing to lend a helping hand, the Trout brothers are simply amazing.
The Trouts are not only brothers but they are best friends as well, living and working together and always taking care of one another. The incredible bond they have with each other is going to be paramount in helping them overcome the monumental fight they have on their hands. This fight however cannot be won by the two of them alone. They need the help of an entire community.
Chris was recently diagnosed with cancer. It is aggressive but so is the treatment plan which the Dr's at Sunnybrook have put in place. Dave is going to be at Chris' side through this battle and has taken a leave of absence. The Trouts are are preparing for the biggest battle of their lives and they need us.
Chris is a part time employee so he is not entitled to benefits. With Dave also being off to help fight this with his brother, there will be no income coming in. They are going to need help covering even the most basic of expenses. Everything from monthly bills, food, and transportation to the cancer centre will be a challenge if we all cant pitch in to help.
Please find it in your hearts to dig in and help the Trouts. Any donation, no matter how small will help out immensely. We are a family and one of our own needs our help. Lets make a Christmas miracle happen.
