Ellis Family Fire Recovery Fund
Donation protected
In the late afternoon of Thursday, May 11, 2017, a fire broke out in the Ellis family home. Dedicated fire crews from several communities worked well into the evening to put out the fire, but the structure could not be saved due to fire lingering in the walls. Cherie, Rollie, Kodie and Margaret were not home at the time. The only lives lost were those of their beloved dog and cat. We are so thankful to God for, once again, keeping our loved ones safe, which is most important.
Nearly two years ago in June of 2015, the Ellis family's home was destroyed by a straight line wind during a severe storm. They salvaged what they could, but lost their home and the majority of their possessions. They picked up the pieces and moved forward. After this fire in their current home, they are once again faced with the loss of their home and all of their possessions.
My cousin, her husband, her daughter and my aunt are strong people and they hold a lot of faith in their hearts. They share so much love for each other and those around them. They will pick up and continue to move forward as they always do, but they need our support. Your prayers and monetary donations no matter the size will be greatly appreciated.
