Hello family, friends and loved ones. Jen was a passenger in a motor vehicle accident on June 8th, just 2 days before our 15th wedding anniversary. The seatbelt, while saving her life initially, caused extensive damage to her lower organs and the shoulder strap tore the right carotid artery causing her to bleed on the brain in several areas. She has already been through multiple surgeries in her abdominal cavity and had to have a stint placed in the surgically repaired carotid artery. She remains in ICU and now has a tracheostomy for breathing. She will still need more surgeries in the near future. I am requesting your thoughts and prayers first and foremost for her to have a speedy and full recovery. For any the would like to donate to Jen’s Fund, you have my most sincere gratitude as we navigate this crisis apart from one another as I continue my healing in a rehabilitation hospital down the street.
