Please help the Jensen family
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kim Thomas. My sister, Wendy Jensen, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. In the midst of figuring out what her next step is as far as setting up her mastectomy, reconstruction, chemotherapy, etc, her 8-year-old son, Wyatt, was sick on and off. After taking him to the doctor and several trips to the er, they still couldn't figure out the problem. Yesterday, April 20, 2023, after vomiting on and off all day and walking a little wobbly, they took him back to the er, where doctors were concerned enough to do an MRI. The MRI showed a tumor on the cerebellum of his brain. We don't know anything else at this moment, other than they will be hopefully operating on Wyatt today to remove the tumor.
How can this happen to one family, let alone all at once? We are trying to stay optimistic and praying for them every day and night. They could really use this time to pray and concentrate on their family and their health, and not have to worry about the medical bills that are piling up.
Please, if you can give anything, even just a few bucks, Wendy, Noah, and our entire extended family would be so appreciative during this time of need.
Thank you so much!
Kim Thomas
04/22/23 UPDATE: First of all, I wanted to personally thank each and every one of you for the unbelievable support you have shown my sister's family. We are all just BLOWN AWAY and so very grateful for your very kind and generous donations.
Just a quick update on Wyatt. They are trying to get the best surgical team together for the surgery, so they're hoping for Monday now as the surgery date. He is being well taken care of at the children's hospital in Madison, WI and just had a visit today from his big brother, Chase, who helped him put together some Legos. I will keep everyone up to date on Wyatt's surgery as I know more. Thank you all so much!!
