Hey, my name is Jill and this is about the life of my little soulmate.

Miso, my little Spitz, has unfortunately suffered two cases of intestinal paralysis and two slipped discs in the past six months. To save his life, he has had to undergo several inpatient treatments at the veterinary clinic, which have now cost around €8,000 and are very difficult to cope with financially as a single dog parent. Numerous tests have been carried out, but so far the cause of his problems has not been found or remedied.

Since Miso is only five years old, it’s really hard to say “okay this is it, he’s lived a long life and now it’s time to let go”. He is an incredibly cheerful, enthusiastic and happy dog, and I wish so much to be able to spend many more wonderful, hopefully pain-free years with him. The doctors treating him now recommend an MRI as the next step to better understand the problems with his spinal discs and clarify possible connections to his intestines, which would add another 1.400 € to the bill.

Unfortunately, I am absolutely at my financial limit. With everything that is happening in the world, I find it very difficult to ask for donations. Nevertheless, I would like to try in order to help Miso with the best possible medical care.
