3Rewery Sanitizer Manufacturing by UHM Students

Aloha from 3Rewery!

Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle Brewery is asking for your help. We began as a science driven company founded by colleagues at the University of Hawaii with a simple goal: create delicious alcoholic beverages from Hawaii and for Hawaii. While seeking to deliver sustainable and locally sourced products, we also utilize the waste of the Hawaiian fruit industry as a sugar source for our multiple ciders and seltzers.

With the emergence of the coronavirus epidemic, our  goal changed based on the communities needs. With distillation resources at our hand and the backing of a top tier research university, we put our original goal on hold to turn our now precious resource of ethanol into a commodity to battle the coronavirus: hand sanitizer. We put all our resources into providing this hand sanitizer to our ohana to combat the further escalation of the worst pandemic of our time.

3rewery is now asking for funds, sugar and bottle donations to help match the supply with demand. Every single penny will go towards sugar and bottle purchases to produce sanitizer. At the moment we are sourcing our hand sanitizer to the community at NO COST (may change). If you have the ability to support our drive and to keep the ethanol drip going in these tough times, please donate!

Sugar donations and bottles can be handled via email listed. Check out and follow our new instagram page @ https://www.instagram.com/3rewery/
