Mason Lahde was born September 2003 with POLYCYSTIC KIDNEY DISEASE.  He received his first deceased donor transplant in 2008 at the age of 4.  In the summer of 2020  Mason's kidney started failing and needed to start dialysis.  He was put on the transplant list and received a call November 13, 2020, he was to be in Toronto the next day.  On November 16, 2020, Mason received his kidney. 

Mason will be at Sick Kids hospital for three weeks and living in Toronto with his mom Kim and dad Bob for 2-3 months.  With this comes many expenses for this amazing family.  Accommodations when in Toronto and travel expenses when Mason returns home to and from Toronto, for regular check ups.  

As a teenage boy this poses many  obstacles .  COVID 19 restrictions and all of the social and emotional challenges that go with this situation increases the family's financial burden.  Mason's  parents will be unable to work during the many months of healing and recuperation.
