Update 7/15/2023
Update time. So this week was quite entertaining.. Monday started with Bloodwork, and when I say bloodwork. I'm talking 9-11 vials. and then a Double Bone Marrow Biopsy. Still sore. All week were meetings and more tests. Xrays, more scans and then Friday, More Blood, More Appts and then a Lumbar Puncure to get spinal Fluid.. came out clear and Jennifer Roig thought it was awesome. She said it was like they were tapping a Tree for Maple Syrup. Oh she had some fun.
We have been in South Lake Union House For a while. It's nice we can make meals. But not so nice when we have to clean after others who don't follow rules. Hoping we will hear back from Pete Gross House. They have actual apartments with Kitchens and Laundry in room. So we're praying and hoping.
All in all. We are in a better place than we were, but post Chemo and Stem Cell. Be nice to be in a more private setting.
We are Blessed and Thankful for all who have helped and prayed and reached out. It helps take our minds off things for a bit. So thank you.. feel free to check in on Jen and I anytime. Or Reach out to Anton Roig and Madalyn Roig if you would like. I'm sure they would appreciate it.

Update 6/28/2023
So I have been Scheduled for July 6th to Check in at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Lake Union Seattle for the Stem Cell Transplant, this will begin with me showing up and being Poked and Prodded like a Lab Rat for 7-10 days. Then they will Supercharge my White Blood Cells (I believe) To make more Stem Cells and Force them out of my Bones. Then they will Harvest them from my Blood like a Dialysis Machine. Once they have the desired amount, Hopefully before Dracula Drains Me. They will freeze Said Stem Cells. Then I will be hit with Heavy Chemo for 10 Days. After which my Stem Cells will be reintroduced to me and I will be in early-stage Recovery for the remainder of time, around 3 months. Then I guess come to find out that it's up to 1 year for Recovery. WOWsers. this is what I have gathered so far.
We are expected to pay upfront for Lodging and certain amenities as well as keep the fort down HERE in Spokane all while living in a Bubble so to speak. We know this is a lot to ask, For help. and that number can be High or Low but it's a start and that is for the 3 months. All this while Jennifer is going to be working and caring for me. I don't know if even she will be able to leave for some Her Time. I am unsure if I can have Visitors. Please share if you feel inclined to and know that the Gratitude we have for you all is Insurmountable.
Hi, my name is Tony (Anton) Roig My Wife is Jennifer and our Kids are Madalyn and Anton. I am fighting Cancer again, for the 3rd time all 3 variations of Hodgkins and or Non-Hodgkins. Since the first time I fought, almost all of the Burden of finances have fallen on my Wife Jennifer as I have Chronic Fatigue and Nueropathy. She is an amazing woman who works hard and loves harder. We are being sent to Seattle for a Stem Cell Transplant. We do not know all these costs and or what it will take. So I'm putting up a number to help us start. As Jennifer will be with me and we will be in a Hospital room or a Patient Apartment. Jen is going to try and work while we are over there as we will still have bills over here. I'm not gonna lie we are a little worried as this is going to take a lot. I just would like some help for Jennifer. If she can take a minute to breathe while we are there. That would mean the world. She wants to be with me and I will need a caretaker. So anything will help. We do have Insurance. It is a help. But fighting for everything with them.
I am going through Chemo now, I am supposed to do 4 Treatments, But they will check a Pet Scan halfway to see if it is working enough and might pull us over sooner. I have a meeting with the Transplant team next week Sometime. They will give us more info as they know more, then I will update as often as I can.
This is a Stem Cell Transplant and will be my first. Basically, they will treat me like a Lab rat for 7-10 days, making sure there are no other underlying issues. Then if my Bone Marrow is completely Clear, they are going to SUPERCHARGE my white blood cells to produce more and more (At least that is how I understand it) then they will grab Stem Cells from my Blood as there will be too many to fit in my marrow. They will filter out the Stem Cells and return all others to me. Then the big one happens. I will be doused with CHEMO beyond anything I have had for 7-10 days depending. I may need a couple of Blood Transfusions and maybe a platelet infusion during this time. After all this Fun, I will be watched for Several weeks by Nurses, Jennifer and staff. Everyone, please be nice to your nurses. After which I may be able to come home. all in all 2.5-3 Months. Starting as soon as July as Late as Sept Depending on regular Chemo and Scan. if there is an issue with my Marrow we may seek donors.
These Funds if we get some will help Jennifer Lighten some of the load and breath easy as she is worried about Me, Finances and our home. if we get there some will be used for this purpose, Some will be used for Doctor and Hospital bills as you can imagine those do stack up. Some may be used for Food as we are not sure what that will be like either. Hospital Apartment or Hospital Room.
