3rd Annual Fortunate Choices

On Thursday October 4th, 2018 the Marquette University Urban Scholars will be hosting the Third Annual Fortunate Choices – an event geared towards raising cancer awareness and  helping those who are battling it. This year we decided all proceeds will go to Children With Hair Loss, a nonprofit organization that provides children who have suffered from hair loss due to Cancer treatments, immune system disorders, burns, etc., with a wig at no cost. Due to the minimum hair donation of eight inches, Urban Scholars are adopting #8or8 to encourage everyone to donate 8+ inches of hair or $8, but all donations are welcomed.

The Urban Scholars have a goal of 50 hair donations and $2,000 GoFundMe donations.
