Jory Kingsley

As parents we strive to protect our children and keep them happy and safe. Then there are times when tragic accidents happen and our world is turned upside down. This is what happened to my friend and neighbor Melissa Jakubowski Kingsley. Melissa found her son Jory unresponsive and 6 weeks later he is breathing on his own, but still struggling. He will be moved from the hospital to a long term facility-hopefully RIM soon.
Melissa should not have to worry about the finances of what the health insurance will cover and what they won’t cover, how much it costs to give her son Jory a to have the time to have a chance to heal. She should not have to worry whether she can take time off work to be there for her son and advocate for him.
