On August 26, 2021, we tragically lost a loving fiancé, father, son, brother, and friend when Raymond Nalei Antone Jr. suddenly passed away from a massive heart attack. He left behind his life partner Cheryl, 3 sons, his precious little 4-year old daughter Rachel, and the rest of his Ohana.
An injury in 2008 left Raymond handicap with a painful and debilitating foot injury but that didn’t stop him from caring for his family, supporting Cheryl at home, and raising his children. He always had a big, radiant, smile on his face, and always did the best he could taking care of his loved ones. Although he was the best stay at home dad, he always worried he wasn’t doing enough. Just weeks before his passing, Raymond mentioned to Cheryl that he felt bad that she had to work so hard, sometimes up to 3 jobs to help support the family but Cheryl, a loving partner, told Raymond that she was happy as long as they were together, and she’d do what she could to help out.
Cheryl will see to Raymond’s wishes to be cremated and taken to the Big Island to be set free,a place where Raymond and Cheryl longed to reside and raise their children. She now faces an uncertain future without her love, and the medical bills and financial burdens left behind.
It is a difficult time. Please help us make Cheryl’s financial burdens easier until she can restructure her family life.
