Help My Family Rebuild After Hurricane

Hello everyone! I’m Emerald! I’m from Atlanta, Ga! I am making this fundraiser to aid myself and immediate family on the road to recovery. On Friday, 9/27/2024, my family was directly impacted by Hurricane Helene! A massive oak tree, more than 40 meters tall, fell and crushed our home. My mother-in-law JUST flew into Atlanta from Oakland on Tuesday to visit with our newborn. She was hospitalized as a result of the tree and house crashing down on her! The emergency fire units came together and made a brave rescue! She was discharged earlier today from Grady with non-life-threatening injuries. She is still in lots of pain, however.

We are displaced and in need of monetary donations and other essential resources to begin rebuilding our lives! We have been uprooted from our home. Our children have been uprooted from their school! The lives we made it out with cannot be replaced. Please come together and help my family recover from this catastrophe! We are starting completely over. I will be using the funds to cover storage, moving cost & furnishing. I will be using donation funds to provide new school uniforms. My vehicle needs repairs after being stumped with heavy branches from the fallen tree! I need funds to recover the loss of my work equipment, etc. Everything we had is gone.
