Get ready for another year of TREADMILL CARNAGE! With two returning stars and two new guests, this year is guaranteed to be mayhem.
Join Brayden and Allia, the lovable duo from last years marathon to repeat the magical day when they walked an entire 42.2km marathon.... on treadmills. Ever since that day, their closest friends Renee and Dylan have been practically jumping up out of their seats to get on a treadmill for the sequel.
Training? Pfft. Nobody needs training to do a marathon, right? The motivated quartet will complete this challenge with nothing but the clothes on their back, some downloaded movies, the new york times daily puzzles, and snacks.
But why? What could possibly be motivating the quartet so strongly?
A charitable cause, of course. Raising money for emergency family violence support with Safe Steps. And looking cool while doing it.
MEET YOUR CAST:
Brayden: A writer, poet, singer/songwriter, actor, influencer and entrepreneur, Brayden can do it all. Brayden goes for a run once a year, stating "it's just enough to keep the old legs moving". With experience in a previous years' treadmill marathon, Brayden has been itching to get back on and show the world that he can, and he will, walk in place for 11 hours.
Allia: Holding the record for the most avid rockhound out of the group, Allia possesses attention to detail in everything she does. "I'm going to find a strategy", she states, implying her keen eye to detail may give her an advantage in this years feat. Allia has 42.2km logged in past treadmill marathons, and aims to wear compression socks for a big 2025.
Renee: "I'm ready to move". Renee is an avid advocate for the very cause the group plans to raise money for. With past experience in 75 Hard, Renee has gone on record stating "Should be easy". With experience battling intense waves and unidentified sea creatures alongside her best friend Allia, she has said this marathon will be "easy as pie".
Dylan: A technological genius and soon to be inventor of the worlds first time travel device. But that's not all. Dylan is a physical specimen, with an impressive 2 stripe white belt in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, and more importantly, his near world-record breaking 121.9cm leg reach, which Dylan aims to use to his advantage when taking steps on the treadmill.
