Help Sandra Fight Pancreatic Cancer

My name is Sandra, and I’m fighting one of the toughest battles of my life: pancreatic cancer.

Over the past year, I’ve gone through chemotherapy, a major surgery, more chemotherapy, and held onto the hope of being cured. Sadly, recent scans showed that the cancer has returned to my pancreas and spread to my liver.

Thanks to the generosity of family and friends in Brazil, I was able to raise funds that covered many of the costs from my first surgery, therapies, and medications. I’m deeply grateful for that support — it made all the difference.

Now I’m facing a new stage of treatment, and the expenses are once again overwhelming. My oncologist has requested a specialized genetic test called ONCOFOCO, which costs about R$6,500 and is not covered by insurance. In addition, I need to cover health insurance copayments, post-chemotherapy surgery expenses, and daily medical costs that pile up quickly.

Altogether, I need to raise R$36,000 (around US$7,000) to continue treatment. Every donation will go directly toward:

I receive a small disability pension, but it barely covers daily living costs, let alone the high medical bills.
