Update 11/9/25
We have been in the camper since 8/10/25. Things are going as well as they can be. But the days and nights are getting colder and we will soon be going thru propane quickly. The Tractor Supply near us is not reliable to refill tanks, so at this point, it’s more feasible to budget for exchanges. Also, being low income (for now), we also rely on food stamps and with the shut down, it’s hard for us. My husband’s job is weather dependent, and he cannot work in rainy or bitter cold, so we are working on him finding something more reliable. I have found a WFH job, but it doesn’t begin until 12/8, and we have to have reliable internet for that, that we currently cannot afford. Any help is GREATLY appreciated and doesn’t go unnoticed.
My family and I are soon to be homeless… we are currently staying with family and their landlord will not allow us to stay. We have found a camper that will work for our family, and the cash price is $6800. We have been in communications with two different campgrounds in the area and know where we will be if funds for the camper come thru. We are desperate at this point and don’t know what else to do.
Update!!
We have found a RV dealer that does Lease-to-own, and it is $5,00 down and a reasonable monthly payment. We have half of the down payment, and are just needing help with the rest and first month’s rent at the campground.
