Cayman's Late Stage Lyme

Donation protected
After living with chronic unexplained and "unrelated" medical issues for years, Cayman now has some closure, late stage Lyme disease. Though the diagnosis offers relief and long awaited answers, it also comes with a financial toll. In Canada, Lyme disease treatment is not easily available and for the most part is not covered by medical, leaving those affected with the devastating cost of treatment.Late stage Lyme disease is hard to treat, requiring a variety of different methods over a long period of time - approximately a year. Cayman's family just purchased their first home and were not prepared financially for the thousands of dollars her recovery will cost. Any amount of financial assistance would be greatly appreciated. Cayman's illness drains her in most ways, crippling fatigue, widespread pain, neuropathies, and digestive issues, leaving the energy she does have directed at her daughter. Her husband, Lucas, is working hard to make ends meet. Their family's future looks a bit different now, with all resources put into Cayman's wellness and not expanding their family until Cayman is healthy again. It is a different path, but with the help of the appropriate treatments and support her healing can begin! The Ferguson family would like to thank everyone for any contributions they can make. They ask for everyone's well wishes while Cayman starts this journey with Lyme disease.
