MY MOM’S LEGACY

Dear Friends,

I tried to think of a fitting memorial for which expressions of sympathy and solidarity could be made. There is a young person about whom my Mom was always concerned and cheerleading for. This young person could not afford college and loans are not an option. My Mom valued education and knew it unlocked opportunity. She cheered me on to excel in my educational pursuits, and I have been well-served by her counsel in this regard. She provided for many people, especially those who come to this country seeking a better life. It seems fitting that in her honor we provide education - the key to unlocking opportunity. Thank you.
