Hi there - it’s Shawne and Tyler.
Our mom, Kim, was rushed to the ER on Tuesday and needs extensive surgery on her colon resulting in a (hopefully) reversible colostomy bag. This will require two surgeries at least three months apart and months missed of work.
If you know Kim, you know she works a million jobs and side hustles to finance life. Not only does she love the hustle but it pays the bills.
Unfortunately each surgery is going to require a 4-6 week recovery period of no work. Not to mention all the medical bills that are going to be associated.
We started this fundraiser to help our mom. She is already beside herself worried about how to recover from months of missed work. And she needs to be focusing on recovering. It took a lot for us to ask the community for help, but we know Kim is loved and that her extended family would like to help if possible.
