Hello

My name is Jose, I’m a chef living in Seattle and in July of 2024 I was diagnosed with CML, a form of leukemia. It is currently manageable with medication(a pill called Sprycel) and I am lucky enough to continue to work while undergoing this treatment. Lately the medications have been doing its job a bit too well and making it difficult to maintain other aspects of my life such as keeping my balance, mental clarity, heavy fatigue and am nervous about the future. Right now the financial burden is starting to show up in monthly doctor bills and the current cost of the pills is still pretty high.

Im crowdsourcing donations to cover the continuing cost of care including weekly blood draws and monthly oncology visits at Fred Hutch. Hopefully with your help, everything will be ok!
