Hi, I’m Renee, as many of you know my girl Missy and my dad’s girl Stella are the best of friends! Well Stella suddenly got sick and we are struggling to keep up with the costs. Stella is 10 months old and got her first heat, she started to get discharge and vomiting so we were worried about pyometra. We went to our main vet where we were told it was a UTI and to be safe we’d spay her at the end of June. That bill was $180. She got better for a day and a half and then Thursday she started to decline. No more vomiting but diarrhea, won’t eat anything, shaking, and extremely lethargic. We went to Toronto veterinarian emergency hospital in Scarborough where they told us her kidneys were elevated and they didn’t have room to keep us so they sent us to Veterinarian emergency clinic in downtown Toronto. We were then given the quote on the high end $9075. They called us and said based on their ultrasound Stella has chronic kidney disease and she was likely born with it. The vet said if she makes it through her treatment to lower her kidney levels she could have a few months to a few years to live, they are unsure. She’s only 10 months old and we want to do everything we can for our sweet girl.
ANY help is greatly appreciated, whether it’s a donation or simply a share!
Thank you so much in advance❤️
