Hi everyone, our names are Rob and Reena we are the parents to 3 absolute amazing kids... Little Rob, Rose, and Ray.
About 2 1/2 weeks our oldest son Rob was diagnosed with a very rare condition called "Aplastic Anemia" (his bone marrow is basically plastic). His body has stopped making red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets.
He has gone through a few blood transfusions and platelet transfusions. He's had some severe reactions to the infusions but has been very strong the entire time!
He will need a bone marrow transplant, in which his sister thankfully has been tested and is a 10/10 match. We couldn't be more happier.
He will still have to go through chemo and other meds and we will continue to pray and pray that the transplant is successful.
We have a very long road ahead of us. He will be admitted into the hospital within the next week or so to start treatment.
