On April 4th our dear friend and colleague passed away. As many of you know, she was a beloved teacher at our school. We loved her dearly and this has been incredibly difficult for the teachers, as well as the students. We are determined to keep her memory alive, so we are creating a Live, Laugh, Love garden in her honor. This embodies everything she was... she lived life to the fullest, laughed all the time, and loved with all her heart. Karla was my dear friend and I am honored to be on the memorial committee to plan this garden. I am in charge of connecting with her friends on this project. Karla lived a life that mattered. She changed my life and countless others. We love and miss her dearly. Please donate what you can and together we will keep her memory alive. From all us at Roosevelt Elementary, we thank you.
