Ella es Ally, mi sobrina de 7 años, quién en julio del 2019 fue diagnosticada con Leucemia Linfoblástica Aguda de células tipo T. Desde el 7 de abril, está batallando contra una grave infección lo que le procovó un shock séptico y todo esto a causa de las fuertes quimioterapias que recibe. Mi hermana y cuñado tuvieron que llevarla al hospital Rebagliati pero al no encontrar camas disponibles, sumado al alto riesgo que implicaría debido al COVID-19, tuvieron que internarla de emergencia, por recomendación de su médico, en la clínica "San Pablo".
El costo de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de la clínica es de S/. 10mil soles ($3 mil) aprox. por día, los cuales son imposibles de solventar con recursos propios.
Ally está luchando, es una niña maravillosa y muy fuerte. No se imaginan el esfuerzo y las ganas que le pone a su recuperación. ¡Su actitud es la mejor!, realmente nos inspira, sabemos que ella va a salir victoriosa de esta nueva prueba porque es una guerrera, pero en estos momentos para seguir de pie y luchando nos necesita a todos.

This is Ally, my 7-year-old niece. In 2019, she was diagnosed with Type T Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Since April 7 she has been struggling with an infection that provoked septic shock. This was caused by the strong chemotherapy she is enduring.
My sister and her husband wanted to take her to Rebagliati Hospital (public) but because there are no beds available and there is a high risk of contracting COVID 19, they had no option but to take her to a private hospital, as suggested by their doctor.
She is currently at Clinica San Pablo where, unfortunately, they are charged around s/.10 000 ($3,000) a day and it is very costly for our family.
Ally is giving it all she's got. She is a wonderful little girl and she is very strong. You would not believe how much effort she puts in this whole process. Her attitude is simply beyond inspiring! We are very optimistic and know that she will get through this successfully thanks to her fighting spirit. But right now she needs our help.
