On March 25th, 2016 at the age of 19 I was rushed to the Emergency room at Children’s Hospital. That day I was diagnosed with kidney failure. That day I started dialysis. That day changed my life.
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I drive from Houma to New Orleans to receive four hours of hemodialysis. It’s difficult to work because of the dialysis schedule and my physical limitations. I rely on my church family and on my mother to keep me motivated. However, at times this gets difficult and it tests my faith. But I know that God has a bigger plan for my life and this is my testimony.
There’s is no cure for kidney. My only other option is a kidney transplant. If I do not get a transplant, I will be on dialysis three times a week for life. The cost of transplant surgery is around $250,000. This does not includes the multiple medications I will have to take for the rest of my life.
I’m asking for your help, kindness and generosity to donate to this cause to help me pay for my medications after the transplant. It’s only me and my mother right now and she is working every day to maintain our home and health. Please help me start and new life.
Also my blood type is O+. This means I can get a kidney transplant from someone with type O blood. If you are willing to be a donor and see if we match, please contact me.
Thank you all and GOD BLESS!
