Hello everyone my name is Manish Dhawan. I am raising funds for my wife, Shilpy Kapoor. She is suffering from a Glioblastoma Multiforme grade 4 which is the most aggressive brain cancer and is undergoing treatment for the same.
- She is my better half and his lifetime companion also she has been my strength and his weakness over the years. He is glad to have her as his companion for life but currently, she's not keeping well. She is suffering from Glioblastoma multiforme Grade 4 Which is most aggressive type of malignant cancerous brain tumor.
Right now, she is paralyzed on her right side and unable to speak, as well as having blurry vision and losing her memory. Initially, chemotherapy and radiation are used to remove the tumor as her tumor cannot be operated upon, making this case very challenging. There are also treatments such as proton therapy and immunotherapy that can only prolong life. She will have to participate in clinical trials.
We have a 6-months-old daughter and due to her worsening health condition she's
unable to nurse her child. My daughter misses her mother very much and at this young age my niece needs her mother. However, we cannot take my daughter near her mom because of the radiation.
Shilpy’s diagnosis has been very difficult for us and we're trying our best to cope with this unfortunate situation, throughout this time her smile kept us going.
She urgently needs to undergo treatment which will cost us $15,000 but we have exhausted most of our savings, we are falling behind to complete the necessary medical procedure.
