"Driving Miss Daisy" -Rescue My Car
Donation protected
Just after Christmas, I was gifted with a 2001 Saturn LS1- which was a godsend, as my 21 year old van had died a few months before and we were without a car. They had maintained it well, but In the last 6 weeks- I had to replace the slave master cylinder on it, and then a week and a half ago- we found out that the air conditioner compressor and belt have to be replaced- at a cost of $1700.
We are currently without a car- since Victoria has just recently returned to work, and we are catching up on our bills-there is just no buffer left to handle another major car repair.
I have my transfusion this week, in addition to 3-4 drs appts each week- including pulmonary rehab. We are so close to being solvent again- but this repair is urgent- and my credit has not quite recovered to the point of being able to finance the repair. Because of this- I am reaching out for any help y'all can give...And as always- we will pay it forward.
