I have been blessed to have all of you, your prayers and your support during this difficult time in my life & in my time of need. Your support has been nothing short of reaffirming & I can't thank you enough.
For those of you that are unaware, I have lost my leg (after 5 sugeries), my hands are inoperable due to a stroke & other health complications and my concentration is horrible since I suffered a stroke. I had open heart surgery to replace my Mitral Valve as it was eaten up by a bacteria & that's what shot the blood clot into my right leg which led to my amputation. I also coded 5 times during all this & the last 2 codes I had, resulted in my stroke which affected my short term memory & I'm basically blind in my right eye.
Unfortunately, the cost of health care is stifiling. Many of you may not be aware of a few things; firstly 1 of my benefit concerts was held during a tornado so the turnout wasn't what it would've been, secondly my wife is on long term disability and is unable to work at the moment, thirdly, most musicians will tell you, we use our talent to fill in economic gaps by playing, which I am now unable to do. Lastly, I am unable to work and play due to my stroke & other health issues. This is the perfect storm causing us financial ruin. I know many of you have helped us in the past and we can't thank you enough for that.
