Shooters New Kidney

Hi we are Jason and Andi Edgar and we are fundraising for Scott (Shooter) Soine. Shooter has been battling Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis or FSGS kidney disease for a significant portion of his life. Early in 2021, his kidney condition rapidly deteriorated into Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease. He has successfully found a living donor who is a perfect match and will undergo a kidney transplant on Wednesday, July 7, 2021. However, Shooter will need to remain near the hospital for up to month, resulting in financial hardship for his family as he will be unable to work and will be incurring large medical, lodging, and childcare expenses. He is one of the most generous and caring people around. He is a very dedicated husband, father, friend, and relative and would be the first to help others out. This is our opportunity to give back and help him out. Despite the effects of his kidney failure, he has continued to work full time and actively participate in all of his family’s activities.
