Spain Study Abroad Program

Hi, my name is Brianna Suarez and I am a current student at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I will be graduating this Spring 2024 with my Bachelor’s of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice. It has always been a dream of mine to pursue a study abroad program and have recently come across the chance to do so. As y’all know these programs can be a little pricey and with graduation expenses coming up I have been hesitant to participate. However, this is a once in a life time opportunity and decided that I would like to give it a shot. My professors and department have worked hard to make this happen and I would like reciprocate that energy and try my best to attend.

Since my time here at UTSA I have been an active member of our Criminal Justice Honor Society Alpha Phi Sigma and I am currently serving as the communications coordinator. This semester I have been interning for an unpaid internship at the Bexar County District Attorney’s office as well as working as a student assistant with one of my Professors for a research project. I am blessed and grateful for all the opportunities UTSA has brought me. This journey has directed my interest into law enforcement as I have grown a great passion for serving our community and I cannot wait to fulfill my dreams in doing so.
