Hi everyone, my name is James Soule, Pamela's oldest son. On Thursday, September 23rd, my mom Pamela Soule suffered a sudden and severe asthma attack, which caused her lungs and heart to stop working. My dad, Earl Soule Jr, started CPR immediately while on the phone with 911, until paramedics showed up a minute and a half later. The medics shocked her twice and gave her meds to get her heart started again and loaded her into the ambulance, where they were finally able to intubate her and get oxygen in her system, however, by the time they could get her intubated, 8 minutes had passed with her not getting any oxygen. She has been in McLaren Bay Region ever since on a ventilator while under heavy sedation, while doctors did everything they could to get her to wake back up. On Wednesday, September 29th, it was concluded by 2 separate Neurologists that Pamela is brain dead from lack of oxygen, and is not going to wake back up. We as a family were originally planning to take her off life support on Saturday, October 2nd, until we found out from the Nurses at the hospital that she had signed herself up to be an organ donor in case this very thing were to happen, so now after waiting for Gift of Life to run their tests, we have confirmed that she will be taken off life support on Sunday, October 3rd. Per her wishes, she will be Cremated at Penzien and Steele funeral home, with the family having a get together of friends and other family for final goodbyes at her favorite park.
Now that everything has been laid out, this is where we need help. Since this was so sudden and unexpected, we didn't have anything saved up to pay for this, and Pamela didn't have life insurance yet, so we are asking for donations up to $5,000 to help with cremation and funeral costs. Even if you can only donate a dollar, it will help us tremendously, literally anything helps.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you choose to donate, thank you so so much for helping us in our time of need.
