John and Melissa need our help! John had triple bypass surgery in September of 2022. Since that time he's had numerous surgeries due to severe wound infections. He also has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dimentia and MDS (a rare blood cancer.) John needs round the clock care because of this. Melissa has used all her time off from work and their savings have been depleted since she has been the sole provider through all of this. Melissa has worked for Childrens Health for over 23 years and would do anything for anyone in need. Her work family is the closest thing to family since moving from the Midwest. Melissa would earn extra money by dog sitting for friends but has limited time now because of John's needs. John is now in an assisted living facility that they are paying out of pocket for. On behalf of Melissa and John Kaiser, we appreciate the outpouring of love, prayers and support over these last difficult months. It has been a difficult journey with John going in and out of the hospital and facilities. With the help of friends, coworkers and family the goal is to keep John living there. Any help is so greatly appreciated and will go directly to caring for John.
