In Loving Memory of Moises Perez

My precious cousin, Moises, a soul full of laughter and light, had been battling a ruptured brain aneurysm since Jan 31st.

A strong handsome young man, with an impeccable sense of style and charm was fighting for his life. He could walk into a room full of sadness and silence and have everyone laughing and smiling with his nonsensical jokes. A jokester, who could go on and on just to see you giggle. He could see you and give you the warmest of hugs and you would instantly feel the love and care emitting from his body.

Unfortunately, after almost 2 weeks in the ICU, he was declared brain dead on Sunday Feb 11. His passing comes at a time where we are also grieving the loss of my father, his beloved uncle, (and like a second dad to him) from brain cancer a couple weeks ago. Although it hurts us deeply to accept our losses, we can only hope they are both laughing and cracking jokes from heaven.

The wonderful memories we carry are all that we have left and we can only live for them now.

I, Brenda Perez, his cousin, am asking for support to help lay him to rest as his passing was undoubtedly unexpected. Anything is greatly and wholeheartedly appreciated.

A son, brother, friend, cousin, loved by many, but unfortunately, by the grace of god, parted ways from this lifetime… It’s not a goodbye to my cousin, it’s an until we meet again.
