In Loving Memory Of Garth Gregory
Donation protected
Another update: For anyone that would like to be there and celebrate my father's life the service will be Friday(5/5) at Montgomery Stryker at 1:30pm with a reception to follow at the eagles.
Update: I apologize for not including, the donations will be helped with medical and funeral costs. This has been so very hard for the family, it all happened so fast. It still feels so unreal but unfortunately it's a nightmare we aren't waking up from. Thank you so much to everyone that has helped. Also thank you so much for the love, support and prayers. All of you have been so supportive. We need all of you in this time of need.

On April 24th we found out that our father was sick with pneumonia. He wanted to see his dr but the dr told him to let the antibiotics kick it and run its course. He had listen to his dr. Each of his children Kenny, Kassie and Kira all wanted to take him to the hospital but the decision was made to listen to the dr. Garth's children tried to keep an eye on him and would worry when there was no answer to the phone. On April 25th, Kenny planed on checking on him however after his own physical therapy for a knee injury, Kenny was set to the hospital for a blood clot and asked his sister Kira to go check on him that he wasn't answering his phone. In which Kira did, she walked in to find her fathers c-pap off him, his lips blue and not very coherent. She call her brother Kenny, her sister Kassie and the ambulance. As Kenny was getting out of radiology his father was showing up in and ambulance with his sisters following behind him. IMH ran tests and said his pneumonia was getting worse that they needed to get him to Poudre Valley hospital. It was such a critical condition that he had to be intubated and flight flight down. Arriving to Poudre things weren't looking very well, the dr had told the girls that he had less than 50% of beating the infection, that his body was refusing the insulin that he needed for his diabetes, he was also in type 2 kidney failure and in respiratory distress. He stayed stable through the night. On April 26th, things weren't looking any better they were be coming worse and his organs in his body started to shut down. So many loved one have filled his room throughout the day. Even the nurses were surprised how loved this man is. His nurse that day was so kind heart and helped Garth's family every step of the way, even stayed passed her shift to be with us. At one point in time the nurse lowered his sedation and Garth came to a little. We all got to tell him that we loved him and that it's okay to go, to not hurt anymore. He would even try to write. It gave us hope! But his body was still shutting down. They upped his sedation back up to let him rest some more. Kenny and the girls let family say their goodbyes and at 7:41pm Garth Gregory made his peace and left his body. With loved ones gathered around with our heads bowed down, hands held tight, Prayers and final goodbyes being said. As a family we left Garth to Rest In Peace. As of now we as a family we asking for help.
