Help a Struggling Student Get a New Computer

My mother, who is paying for a family of five's expenses with one job alongside my own job money, can no longer support me beyond the basic necessities. Numerous hard-hitting and unexpected struggles including deaths in the family, hospital bills, chronic illness, loss of work, and a triple college debt have compounded this. I am the first and only STEM student in my family, and also the only one currently pursuing a degree, but by way of loans outside of my control, the college debts of my two older siblings have collectively fallen onto my shoulders. This has landed me in an exceedingly difficult spot that allows for little to no luxury.

I have been using the same discount laptop since 2019. After being the sole piece of technology I could rely on throughout my entire college experience, it is now on its last legs. I cannot attend university and finish my degree this coming year without a working computer, nor can I continue work as a freelance artist. I have been tirelessly taking on multiple jobs throughout semesters to help put food on the table, sometimes as much as three at a time during full-time, 18-credit semesters; this rinse and repeat process has been detrimental for my health. Minimum wage and student pay can only do so much in this system, and my mother and I cannot handle the fees alone while we work ourselves to the bone to scrape by.

At last, the reason I am sharing any of this; I am humbly asking for your help in affording a new computer while I work to earn every cent possible to pay for the other half of this fee on my own. Every little bit means the world to me. Thank you for your kindness and consideration.
