Please help fund Jenny's gender transition

21st Sept. 2020. Hi. I'm Jenny. Well, I am now, anyway.
I'm looking for financial help for my gender transition/confirmation therapy, and associated costs.
Last year, I was a nearly 58 year old, depressed guy - who needed to address the cause of that depression: my gender issues. Now, as Jenny, I'm already a happier, more content person.
Some amazing family and friends have helped me in my new life, but I've hit the roadblock of the NHS's Gender Dysphoria Services waiting lists: despite living in an area where the lead times are nearly the lowest in the UK, I'm looking at (from figures their own website) TWENTY-SIX MONTHS before first assessment, and then another TWENTY MONTHS before 'treatment' of any ANY kind can begin. (EDIT/UPDATE 7th Dec. - NOW INCREASED TO OVER 62 MONTHS TOTAL) This is pretty upsetting and worrying. At 58, a wait that long is depressingly intolerable, and learning this left me in an emotion turmoil following finally taking this step after so many years.
Reluctantly (as a supporter of the NHS) I'm having to look at private options, but the costs are huge; starting with assessments, consultations, tests, hormones, and moving onto actual procedures for breast enhancement, reassignment/ confirmation surgery, hair removal, (and possible facial work) - we're looking at a frightening total of about £30k for work done the UK. There are also minor 'administrative' costs for things like new driving licence, passport etc.
I really hope I can get at least part of the way there.
[update 31/03/2021 I now have a private psych evaluation booked for just over 2 months time, and an endocrine appointment for late July. If all goes well, hopefully I'll have access to hormone therapy by my 1st anniversary! The bills for this are starting to roll in]
