Hi there. As many of you know, for the past 6 years I have been through a lot health wise.

In October of 2019, I was diagnosed with E.Coli O157:H7. The E.Coli quickly got into my blood & caused me to quickly go into kidney failure. I went fully septic & was soon on dialysis. Once I was almost done with the dialysis, my left lung filled up with fluid & collapsed which caused me to be intubated & to have a heart attack. During all of this I was also dealing with other things such as frequent panic attacks, going cross eyed, & pancreatitis.

I have been dealing with medical issues left and right since then. Growing up I have always dealt with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, ADHD, & OCD. I have now PTSD. I recently have developed more issues due to the decline in my health. We have learned that I have genetic cardiomyopathy, but this is due to e.coli changing my genetics, not family history. It is the Desmoplankin mutation. I also have an autoimmune disorder called Antiphospholipid Syndrome, neuropathy, Fibromyalgia, hyper mobility, PMDD, tic disorder, & congestive heart failure.

On the daily I manage my chronic pain which is throughout my entire body, I am never not in pain. I have neuropathy, hyper mobility, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, & degenerative disc disease. I also manage my heart failure. I take about 12 medications daily to keep me going. I do mild exercise, but it’s tough with chronic fatigue & pain. Since I have had so many heart events, I received an implanted defibrillator on my left side called an S-ICD. This is for when my heart has sustained ventricular tachycardia.

I am asking for help financially. I do have a stable job with the state, with great health benefits. But I have been put into a lot of debt due to all of the time I have had to take off within the last 6 years. It is difficult for me to save up sick/vacation time since I have to use the time I receive every month for doctor’s appointments. I am currently hospitalized for 10 days with no pay. With the out of pocket medical expenses, along with life in general, I need help. This is my 3rd hospitalization this year, & my 14th since October 2019.

It is not easy to ask for help financially, but if anyone is able to, it’s is greatly appreciated. These funds will go directly to rent, credit cards, & medications. I want to be able to heal without stressing that I am missing work. I want to be a girl in her 20’s for once not worried about medical bills.
