My name is Jetty. I'm an advocate for the unhoused, and I am the founder of the Barefoot Defenders. Kora is one of the people I am a megaphone for.

Kora has stage 4 rapid growth breast cancer. It's recently broken through her chest cavity, into her lungs, blood, and now into her bones.

Ever since I first met Kora, she has been asking for help to get her, her car, and her motorcycle to Ohio, so she can be with her kids and have things to leave them when she departs from this earthly journey. We finally got her car and bike running; now it's time to get them on their way home.

We are asking for $10,000.00. Here is our breakdown:

Car registration and tags: $350

Car insurance: $200

Gas to get to Ohio: $1,000

Food for two people and a dog: $600

Hotels for our trip to Ohio and while Kora figures out her living situation: $3,000

Emergency funds: $500

Flight and travel home for the person driving with Kora to Ohio (this will probably be me): $1,500

Trailer for the motorcycle: $500

Anything left over will be either put towards medical needs, housing, or given to Kora's kiddos. If we can't get Kora home this route, we would like to fly Kora home and have her car, bike, and belongings shipped to Ohio.

Kora is currently in the hospital and was given the news that the cancer is now in her bones.
